Sugar Fast Day 9

Today we welcome Day 9.

We’ve been on this sugar-free adventure for long enough that it’s become a routine we expect each morning. As we explore our hearts and minds, we come to realize our dependence on sugar, and all that it does to control our lives. What starts to happen is that our cravings for sugar begin to slowly dwindle day by day. The urgency we once had to run to the cabinet to down a few cookies starts to subside, and we have this newfound surge of empowerment. But our nature to crave things and hunger for more doesn’t just vanish from our beings. At this point you may begin to discover different or even new cravings pop up. So be weary… be alert. We don’t want to replace one addiction with another.

Take today to push through the cobwebs and examine what other parts of you might need to be fasting as well. It won’t be easy or comfortable, but very necessary as you are on this journey to a healthier you. And the best part is that we’ve got each other along the way, which always makes everything better! You’ve got this GB!
