Drowning

Do you ever feel alone? Do you ever feel like you’re drowning, while everyone else isn’t even batting an eyelash? I’m here to tell you that you are NOT alone!!

Today as I dropped my daughter off at preschool, I felt a sudden sadness come over me. I try to make connections, I smile and try to engage with the other moms walking by, but I rarely even get an awareness of my presence walking past them on the narrow sidewalk, let alone a smile back. Or you try to open up and end up saying the wrong thing? Or you’re by yourself, while everyone else seems to be grouped together laughing? You can start to feel very lonely. You start to wonder if you are the only one in the world who feels overwhelmed and struggles-with motherhood, marriage, friendships… life. You watch videos where people seem to have everything perfectly in line, without distractions, or chaos of any sort, while your life is like Cirque du Soleil on crack?!

Well, I’m here to tell you that you are NOT alone. At times, chaos consumes my every moment, my heart feels forlorn and sad even though there is so much beauty around me. Today I want you to tell yourself that “You are loved.” Say your name followed by “I love you. You are loved” I’ll do it right now. “Tara I love you. You are loved.”

Fill up your weary heart today my friends. You are NOT alone. You are loved and you are worthy. Please join me for a 15 minute Love Yourself Yoga Practice. Link below.
